Basic, quick biscuits that work well as a side to most things, especially soup.
It has hipster grains in it so it must be healthy.
Garlic, butter and cards. It's basically a complete meal.
This stuff is good. I eat way too much of it.
This isn't store-bought sandwich bread - you don't avoid the dry end crust. You fight with your silblings over who gets the crunchy and soft heel of the bread when it's fresh out of the oven and the butter melts into it.
This makes dough for about a 16" pizza pan.
If you don't put frosting on it, it's considered a muffin and not a cupcake. Which makes it an acceptable breakfast food.
This was the only way my parents ever got me to eat spinach as a kid. I think it's still the only way I eat spinach: surrounded by sausage and smothered in cheese.
I've heard tell that if a British person shouts at the sky for scones, they will fall like manna from the heavens. I'm not sure what the secret is, because I've only seen rain falling from the sky in Britain. Lots and lots of rain.
I miss being able to get fresh baked pretzels at any bakery on any block in Germany. This is my inadequate and tedious substitute.
